Britney joined Moore Architecture in 2006. Her background includes designs for residential lofts, multi-family housing, and office buildings. She also has significant single family residential construction experience.
At Moore Architecture, we focus on the many aspects of residential projects: from sympathetic historic renovations and additions to contemporary or modern original designs. We also offer services for new construction projects such as new retail buildings, restaurants, and medical offices.
As new advances are made in design and construction, our architects and interns have access to seminars and hands-on experience to implement any changes that may benefit our clients. Whether it’s a way for our clients to have more usable space in the design, or a way to save money on alternate building supplies, our aim is to give our clients as many options as possible throughout the design process.
Britney has received several in-house awards as well as independent commendations for her energy-efficient, yet aesthetically pleasing designs. She received the “Moore Architecture Exceptional Intern” award in 2007 for her unique ability to combine form and function. She also earned the mayor’s annual “Rising Higher” award in 2008 for her space-saving office building design for the Downtown Project.
Britney also works with Habitat for Humanity often, donating her time and money-saving building designs to the charity. She works on-site whenever possible, and has even been known to pick up a hammer to shingle the roof, or a brush when the walls are ready for a coat of paint.
Britney is a valuable part of our company and the community.
